Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops are getting more efficient. They pass our cleaning tests, and can handle different floors. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Find an application that lets you save schedules, maps and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar to navigate, create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules and modify the S1's behavior.

When I tested the S1, it was able to locate our downstairs, which is home to laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, plus carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without colliding with them, and even managed to cross thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down stairs in a single pass. The S1 also did a great job of cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving smoothly on the flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and fills up its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank can hold enough for 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ based on how often you use the mop.
The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to wash out the dirty tank to keep it from becoming clogged. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. But, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combos which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs' all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is a powerful solution to your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum has 8700Pa of suction power and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just dragging a pad across the surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if required.
The robot is simple to install and use, with a simple interface that guides you through the procedure. It includes an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and filled as required. It has a variety of useful settings to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does a good job at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up most of the debris, and even tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it does sometimes get hung up on the small area mats or rugs that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary within the app). The mopping capabilities are quite good as well, with two spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station when needed. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station when needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It is a great cleaner and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It also cleaned our tests' most filthy areas well, and eliminating pet hairs that are tangled and other dirt. The sweeping power of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that moves out to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can move from one room to another without changing direction, which is a handy feature for homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is not as advanced than other models however, and tends to leave a large margin over obstacles, which can result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and easy to use. It should be easy to use for novice and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, adjust suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri and allows you to keep an eye on its progress from anywhere. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris, but it can't always reach every last particle of dust. It's essential to clean your home frequently, every week. This is especially true for dust that builds up in corners, on shelves, and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot that was designed to accomplish exactly that. affordable robot vacuum to connect it to your Wi-Fi at home network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped down version of the more expensive S-series models from the company, which includes the flagship Roborock S8 maxV ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but it saves cost by removing mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.
The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping robots we've ever seen in this price range, despite not being able to wipe your floor. It has a strong suction of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It comes with a smart application that lets you schedule cleanings and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system for hands-free operation.
Its mops are also impressive with their 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested that did not have issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it was able to not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise, since it does NOT include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also uses an innovative mapping system that helps it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums cannot. The device also collects dust in a larger dustbin which means you have empty it less frequently. It also has washable filters, which reduces the cost. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
